You,
the recession and counselling
 |
A
lot of people are facing new and worrying difficulties. For these
unfamiliar problems, there is
support; help with managing money, coping with a job
loss, dealing with a repossession. |
 |
Sometimes,
though,
practical help is not enough. Knowing what to do is one thing,
getting down to do it is another. It can be that feeling overwhelmed
gets in the way of taking the next practical steps. That letter might not get written, that
phone call may not be made. |
 | Counselling
is not only for mental health issues - it can be good to be
able to talk to someone in confidence. It can help to talk to
someone who will not judge you, but will give you the space
to explore your options. It can make a difference to talk through problems with someone who can help you
to see things from different perspectives, and
who can help you find the confidence to face change. |
 |
If
you are worried, if you are anxious, if you have problems that
practical help should resolve, but does not - think about seeing a
counsellor. |
